Look, be reasonable here. FetLife is clearly at fault, because if they allowed file attachments this would have been a much more presentable checklist. Then s/he could have sent you a pdf, a Word document or even a spreadsheet with a neatly laid-out questionnaire, perhaps with little check-boxes, or the ability to grade each answer on a scale of “yes/indifferent/no”. This would allow for much more nuanced answers, while retaining the standardized format of the questionnaire so as to restrict the number of variables in the overall answer profile.
You’re being far too harsh to the poor bloke/blokette. Just because s/he sends you a list of questions, doesn’t mean s/he’s being rude - it’s just that the questionnaire isn’t properly developed.
